1. Introduction & Eligibility

Welcome to Family Trade, a non-profit student project operated by the Arise Education Foundation, Ghana. This platform is exclusively designed for the students, families, and staff of the Arise School community to facilitate the sharing of educational resources.

2. Rules for Trading

We expect all community members to act with honesty and respect:

• Users must provide accurate descriptions and authentic images of the books they offer.
• Uploading inappropriate material, spam, or engaging in fraudulent activity will result in immediate account suspension.
• All books are subject to an approval process by platform administrators to ensure they meet community standards.

3. Community Safety & Hotspot Exchanges

For the safety of our students, all physical book exchanges (drop-offs and pickups) must occur exclusively at approved, designated "Hotspots" (such as the school library). Physical transactions are confirmed via secure QR codes.

4. Virtual Credit System

Family Trade utilizes a virtual credit system to facilitate fair exchanges. These credits have no real-world monetary value, cannot be purchased with real money, and cannot be exchanged or cashed out outside of the Family Trade application.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

Because Family Trade is a non-profit student initiative, the platform is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. The Arise Education Foundation is not liable for the condition of the physical books traded, nor for any arrangements made by users outside of the designated platform Hotspots.
